Fertility Counselling & Reproductive Trauma Support in Edinburgh

Fertility Counselling Edinburgh held at 22 Drumsheugh Gardens in EH3 Edinburgh

Healing often happens more easily when we have a space where we can slow down, feel safe, and give attention to what we are carrying such as in fertility counselling Edinburgh.

I welcome individuals and couples to my private counselling practice in Edinburgh’s West End or walk and talk locations around Edinburgh, where I offer specialist support for fertility challenges, reproductive trauma, miscarriage, baby loss, birth trauma and women’s health concerns.

Whether you are navigating IVF with the Edinburgh Fertility Centre, a fertility centre elsewhere or local satellite clinic; coping with a loss; struggling with uncertainty or adjusting to a significant life change, therapy can provide a space to process your experiences without pressure to minimise them or face them alone.

Specialist Infertility & IVF Support in Edinburgh’s West End

I offer dedicated individual and couples counselling from my welcoming West End practice in Edinburgh, as well as online across the UK.

As a specialist fertility counsellor, I support individuals and couples navigating the profound complexities of fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, infant loss, TFMR (Termination for Medical Reasons), and secondary infertility. Having the space to unpack and tune into how you really are can be incredibly impactful during this difficult time. You do not have to be alone in this; we can sit with your grief and complex emotions together.

In counselling, having a witness to these big emotions, being fully seen, heard, and having a space where it is okay for things not to be okay-can help you fully process your experience and gain clarity on where you are at.

My practice also offers specialised support throughout the perinatal period. Entering motherhood after the trauma of infertility or loss can bring unexpected hurdles. For many, the accumulated stress and pressure of IVF can trigger complex emotions, hyper-vigilance, and deep anxiety during pregnancy and the early postnatal experience.

Equally, I hold a compassionate, non-judgmental space for those who choose to bring their fertility medical journeys to an end and begin the delicate process of navigating a childfree life.

Wherever you are on your reproductive path, you do not have to carry this weight alone. Please reach out if you would like support in Fertility Counselling Edinburgh.

A Gentle, Safe Space Tailored to Your Pace

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), my therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored entirely to your unique pace. I understand that reproductive trauma can feel incredibly isolating, often impacting your relationships, identity, and sense of hope. Within our therapeutic sessions, there are no expectations, timelines, or requirements to feel strong. Together, we can explore self-compassion tools, somatic grounding exercises to soothe an overstimulated nervous system, and strategies to protect your emotional boundaries during difficult social settings or ongoing clinic cycles. Your reproductive path may feel deeply uncertain right now, but you do not have to walk it in isolation. Please reach out to arrange a gentle, introductory conversation.

Don’t live in Edinburgh? I also offer virtual sessions across Scotland and the UK. Explore my Online UK Hubpage to book an online session from the comfort of your own home.
