Fertility, TTC and IVF Counselling in Edinburgh

If trying to conceive has left you feeling anxious, isolated, grief-stricken, or unlike yourself, you don’t have to carry it alone.

I specialise in supporting individuals and couples through the complex stages of fertility journeys, IVF, third-party donor conception, and the emotional transitions of fertility treatment.  This is offered from 22 Drumsheugh Gardens, EH3 7RN in the West End of Edinburgh and Online across the UK.  I am a member of BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association) and this is an area I am passionate about supporting women with.

If you would like to work with me in person in Edinburgh or Online across the UK, please don’t hesitate to book in for an introductory call.    I also offer small fertility support groups as well as 1to1 therapy.

Trauma-Informed Counselling at my Edinburgh West-End Practice

Infertility Counselling offers a place to grieve and open up about the challenging journey you are on.  Whether you have been trying for a long time going through a torturous two week wait for what feels like eternity, are on a long wait list to begin the  IVF process or have experienced failed cycles or losses, this is such a difficult path to walk.  You do not need to go through this alone and infertility counselling gives you the space to check in with you, to prioritise your calm and self care.

It is important to be able to share and not feel alone during this time.  Perhaps you are also experiencing a chronic condition or have just been newly diagnosed with endometriosis after years of being told it was a painful period by numerous doctors.  It can feel like the medical system has let you down and anger can even arise towards your own body for not functioning in the way you want it to.  You are not alone and you do not need to go through this alone.

Counselling gives you a place to open up and be witnessed in your grief allowing you to move through these emotions for as long as you need.

All of these struggles that we can face on our journey to and through motherhood can result in trauma. As a specialist fertility counsellor, I support women who have experienced the shock of fertility struggles, IVF journeys and the painful realities of trying to conceive with chronic conditions

Women who struggle with infertility, baby loss or premature birth may only uncover their chronic conditions as they begin trying to conceive.  I offer a space to deepen your understanding and attunement with your body.

Where is your Edinburgh Fertility Counselling Practice located?

My private practice is located at 22 Drumsheugh Gardens in the heart of the West End (EH3).  The clinical space is a quiet, dedicated therapeutic sanctuary designed to provide complete privacy and comfort as we navigate your fertility or IVF journey.

The space is easily accessible by public transport, sitting just a short walk from the Haymarket train station and the West End tram stop.  If you are driving there is ample pay-and display parking availably directly on Drumsheugh Gardens and the surrounding streets.

Our first 50-minute session at the Edinburgh Practice is a gentle space to map out your current situation, explore your reproductive history, and discuss your therapeutic goals.  There is no pressure; it is simply a collaborative space to ensure you feel safely supported.

Yes, couples counselling is one of my offerings.  Fertility struggles and IVF can place immense strain on a relationship.  I regularly welcome couples to my Drumsheugh Gardens practice for support sessions, helping you both navigate the emotional landscape together.

I work from my West End Practice at 22 Drumsheugh Gardens, EH3 7RN.

Not based in Edinburgh?  I offer online therapy across Scotland and the UK: 1to1, couples and group sessions.
